Unfinished Hardwood Flooring
Many customers, especially subcontractors, choose to use
unfinished wood flooring as opposed to finished wood.
The unfinished hardwood floors require less effort and
have an easier installation process.
Installation of this type of flooring typically includes
fitting the wood together plank by plank, followed by
sanding the wood and then painting the finish. The
finish is added over the surface of the floor as a whole
after the boards have been installed. This intricate
process allows for the minute spaces between the planks
to be filled with finish, which offers a more uniform
finish as well as a greater moisture-proof seal.
Unfinished hardwoods are an excellent addition to any
home or room - contact us to learn more about hardwood
